# OSImport

**OSImport** is defined as an Operating System that is imported into **OSDBuilder** using **Import-OSMedia**.  This should be the **BASE Image** that you Update

OSDBuilder requires an original Microsoft Gold Image  or ISO that has been unmodified.  You can use any of the following Media

**If you are considering using your Reference Image or any Customized WIM in OSDBuilder, you should be aware that OSDBuilder was not designed to work this way.  Expect bad things to happen.  I won't elaborate on this further, and questions about this will probably be ignored.  There are no plans to include support for importing modified images**
